TWO placed in the top 10, with GM Pia Cramling right up there at #11. Our USA chess femmes, Krush and Zatonskih, neck and neck again (just like the were at the 2008 U.S. Women's Chess Championship), had very credible performances. BTW, the event was won by Russian GM Peter Svidler with 8.0. Here is the final rankings table. Won't it be grand to see the upcoming showdown of Krush and Zatonskih in the 2009 U.S. Women's Chess Championship - can't wait! Assuming they play...
